Adega Cooperativa Redondo

The Redondo Cooperative Winery was born in the heart of the Alentejo region and has become one of the leading winegrowers in the Redondo sub-region. Its history is linked to several generations of winegrowers and a cooperative vision that values local grapes, fieldwork, and the expression of an area protected by the Serra d’Ossa mountain range.

The best-known brand is Porta da Ravessa, a name that has become an ambassador for the winery's wines and continues to represent an accessible, genuine, and profoundly Alentejo style. Alongside it are wines such as Real Lavrador, Anta da Serra, and AR, with profiles designed for different consumption moments, from young and versatile wines to more structured choices.

The Redondo sub-region benefits from the influence of the Serra d’Ossa mountain range, which protects the vines from prevailing winds and favors balanced ripening. This combination of climate, soil, and experience allows the winery to create fresh and aromatic whites, straightforward rosés, and smooth, fruity, or more concentrated reds, always with the warm identity of the Alentejo. Adega de Redondo works with traditional grape varieties such as Trincadeira, Aragonez, Alicante Bouschet, Castelão, Roupeiro, Fernão Pires, Antão Vaz, Rabo de Ovelha and Arinto, while also maintaining space for varieties with strong regional potential such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Syrah and Verdelho. The result is a wide, consistent and easy-to-serve range.
