Encosta de Sende
Encosta de Sende is a personal project of Sérgio Diz Afonso, rooted in the parish of Sende, in Monção, the heart of the Monção and Melgaço sub-region. Starting with small family plots, the producer focused on the Alvarinho variety, cultivated in granitic soils under Atlantic influence. Production is artisanal, with manual harvesting and respect for traditional practices, reflecting the authenticity and character of the region. Encosta de Sende is more than a wine — it is the expression of a local story told with dedication and identity.
