Delicacy, elegance and identity — this is how Poeira SHE 2019 is defined, a unique red wine from Quinta do Poeira , produced from an exclusive plot of Touriga Franca . Located in Provesende , in the Pinhão River Valley, the north-facing vineyard, planted at an altitude of between 200 and 300 metres, allows us to create wines with a freshness and finesse that is uncommon in the Douro.
SHE is the most subtle and feminine side of Quinta do Poeira. Its vinification is carried out with attention to detail: fermented in a wine press and cement sphere , with malolactic fermentation in barrels, and aged for 12 months in French oak , this wine reveals a delicate expression of Touriga Franca, with great aromatic depth and balance.
With only 2500 bottles produced , it is a limited edition designed for lovers of elegant and distinctive wines.
