Monte Branco louCA 2019 is a limited-edition white wine with an irreverent profile, created by winemaker Inês Capão at Adega do Monte Branco in Estremoz , in the heart of Alentejo. With a bold and artisanal approach, this wine expresses all the richness of the Alentejo terroir through a surprising and unconventional blend.
Produced with Rabigato (40%) , Verdelho (30%) , Arinto (15%) , Galego Dourado (10%) and Cinomese Cachorro (5%) , it combines typical grapes from various regions in a unique style. The winemaking process is the result of a fusion of three distinct methods: skin maceration , direct pressing with clarification , and an original fermentation of riper Verdelho with more acidic Arinto, creating a unique depth and texture.
After fermentation, the wine aged for 9 months in used 600L French oak barrels , gaining structure and elegance without losing freshness.
In the glass, it has a bright citrus color , with complex aromas of stone fruit, herbaceous notes, and a light, controlled oxidative touch . On the palate, it is lively and structured , with excellent acidity and a rich texture that lingers on the finish.
Pairing: Ideal with creative contemporary cuisine, grilled fish, white meats or soft cheeses.
