Produced in the heart of Vidigueira , at the southern foot of the Serra do Mendro , Natus Branco 2023 comes from traditional vineyards in schist soils , with an artisanal winemaking process that respects the region's heritage and terroir.
Made with Roupeiro, Antão Vaz and Gouveio , hand-picked and foot-trodden in a wine press , this wine ferments spontaneously in clay amphorae and used oak barrels , with a prolonged aging of 8 months on total lees, stirred monthly to gain texture and complexity.
In the glass, it reveals a lemon color with green reflections , a complex citrus aroma with notes of stone fruit and white pulp , and a dense, structured and harmonious palate, with tannins from the fermentation process that bring freshness and an engaging finish.
