Description
Lacrau Reserva Red 2021 is a deep, elegant and balanced wine, produced in the Douro from traditional grape varieties of the region: Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Touriga Nacional . Coming from vines that are 10 to 20 years old , planted in schist soils with a clayey-loam structure , this reserve stands out for its aromatic complexity , silky structure and excellent capacity for evolution.
The winemaking process includes manual harvesting and selection of the grapes , co-fermentation of the grapes in stainless steel at a controlled temperature , and manual pumping over for delicate extraction. The wine is aged in second and third use French oak barrels for 14 months , providing subtle notes of spice and depth.

- Color: Intense ruby with deep reflections.
- Aroma: Complex and expressive, with notes of ripe red fruits wrapped in spices , light touches of wood and balsamic suggestions.
- Palate: Dry, with balanced acidity , very soft tannins, medium structure and a long, elegant finish. A red that combines depth and accessibility.
