Description
HM Borges' dry Madeira wine, made from the Tinta Negra grape variety, with a classic profile and excellent balance between acidity, sweetness and aromatic complexity.

🌱 Grape Varieties: Tinta Preta
🛠️ Winemaking: Destemmed and pressed grapes, with fermentation in stainless steel tanks under strict temperature control. Fermentation is stopped by the addition of neutral wine alcohol, in accordance with the dry style of the wine.
⏳ Aging: Aged in oak barrels, with an average age of 5 years, combining French and American wood and, in some batches, partial aging in stainless steel.
🌿 Vineyards: Vineyards located mainly on the island of Madeira, in volcanic and basaltic soils with a clayey texture, acidic and rich in organic matter, benefiting from a mild subtropical climate, with hot summers, temperate winters and close proximity to the sea.

- Palate: On the palate it is dry, with well-integrated acidity, excellent balance and a persistent finish.
⏳ Potential for Evolution: High potential for evolution in the bottle, typical of great Madeira wines, remaining in perfect condition for many years after bottling.
🍽️ Serving suggestion: Serve slightly chilled, between 13ºC and 16ºC, as an aperitif or accompanying appetizers, dried fruits, rich soups, or medium-aged cheeses.
