Description
An exceptional Douro wine, made from select blends of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca from vineyards planted in 1998 at the iconic Quinta da Ferradosa . Only 10% of the estate's production is used for this wine, allowing for rigorous, cluster-by-cluster selection to ensure maximum quality.
Vinified with foot treading in granite presses , followed by malolactic fermentation and aging for 15 months in French oak barrels (75% new), this red reveals incomparable complexity and elegance.
On the nose, it's very concentrated and fresh , with strong notes of red fruits like strawberry and raspberry, accompanied by delicate floral nuances. On the palate, it stands out for its firm structure , present yet elegant tannins , and a long finish balanced by its vibrant freshness.
