Tasting notes:
The Lisbon Sea 2020 reveals an intense violet color. On the nose, it presents fresh aromas with emphasis on ripe red fruits. On the palate, it combines freshness, soft tannins and good structure, resulting in a balanced and elegant wine, with a long and persistent finish.
Winemaking and Aging:
The grapes were de-stemmed and underwent pre-fermentation maceration. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27ºC for 9 days. Around 20% of the batch aged in French oak barrels for 6 months, ensuring greater aromatic complexity and smoothness.
Harmonization suggestion:
Ideal to accompany grilled red meat dishes, roasts and typical Portuguese dishes, such as roast goat and duck rice. It also goes well with aged cheeses. Serve at a temperature between 16-18°C.
