Description

Kompassus Reserva Red 2020 is an authentic expression of the Baga grape variety, made from old vines in the Bairrada region, aged between 50 and 90 years. A wine with a striking personality, perfect for lovers of elegant and gastronomic wines.

Tasting notes:
This red wine has a deep ruby color and intense floral aromas, complemented by ripe fruits and a touch of spices. On the palate, it reveals firm but balanced tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, persistent finish, ideal for special moments and gastronomic experiences.

Winemaking and Aging:

  • Manual harvest in 15 kg perforated boxes, ensuring careful selection of grapes.
  • Fermentation in stainless steel tanks with prolonged skin maceration.
  • Aged 18 months in used French oak barrels (400L and 700L).
