Description
HM Borges' semi-dry Madeira wine, made from the Tinta Negra grape variety, with a classic profile and excellent balance between acidity, sweetness and aromatic complexity.

🌱 Grape Varieties: Tinta Preta
🛠️ Winemaking: Destemmed and pressed grapes with controlled fermentation and temperature, following the traditional open vat method. Fermentation is stopped by the addition of neutral wine alcohol, preserving the semi-dry profile characteristic of Madeira wine.
⏳ Aging: Prolonged aging in French and American oak barrels, using the traditional stonemasonry process, until it reaches a high level of complexity.
🌿 Vineyards: Vineyards located mainly on the island of Madeira, in volcanic and basaltic soils with a clayey texture, acidic and rich in organic matter, benefiting from a mild subtropical climate, with hot summers, temperate winters and close proximity to the sea.

- Aroma: Complex aromas of dried fruit, caramel, spices, and toasted notes typical of cask aging.
