Tubarão
Tubarão Vinhos is a project by Ricardo Garrido, born in the vineyards of Póvoa de Varzim, where the vines coexist with the Atlantic and sandy soils that give the wines a very unique freshness. It's a production strongly linked to the territory, the land, and the sea, made with respect for ancestral winemaking techniques.
The producer's philosophy is based on minimal intervention, the use of native grapes, and an artisanal expression of each wine. The result is a vibrant, lively collection full of personality, with wines that showcase the character of the North Atlantic without losing lightness, energy, and authenticity.
Among the wines are the Tubarão Pet-Nat, light and irreverent; the Loureiro, which highlights the purity and freshness of the grape variety; and the Branco de Inverno, a Loureiro with a longer aging period, designed to reveal a more textured and enveloping facet. Tubarão is for those seeking Vinho Verde that's out of the ordinary, with a coastal soul and its own identity.
