Description
Discover João Clara Red 2019 , a regional wine from the Algarve that combines tradition, sophistication and a unique terroir. Signed by winemaker Joana Maçanita , this red expresses all the richness of the Syrah , Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional grape varieties, grown in clay-limestone soils in the Alcantarilha region.
Tasting Notes

- Aroma : Complex and harmonious, with notes of black plums, red fruits, dark chocolate and a light touch of spices.
- Palate : Rich and elegant, with soft tannins and a persistent finish marked by fresh fruits.
Winemaking
The grapes are harvested by hand with careful selection at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28ºC. The wine ages for 8 months in French oak barrels , giving it greater complexity and balance.
Harmonization
Perfect to accompany roasted meat dishes, grilled meats or soft cheeses. A versatile wine that elevates any meal with its elegance and intensity.
