Quinta das Lamelas
Quinta das Lamelas originates in Lamego, in the heart of the Douro Valley, and produces wines that combine tradition and freshness. In the reds, the Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grape varieties take center stage, imparting deep color, notes of rockrose and black fruit, fine tannins, and a harmonious finish.
In the whites, the combination of Gouveio, Malvasia Fina, and Viosinho offers citrus and tropical aromas, with a full-bodied palate and balanced acidity—a vibrant profile that invites you to enjoy the meal and pairs well with fish, seafood, and salads.
The Reservas and Grandes Reservas are aged partially or entirely in oak, adding layers of vanilla, a creamy texture, and great elegance, without losing their Douro identity.
For dessert and social gatherings, the Moscatel do Douro—golden, fragrant, and balanced between sweetness and acidity—is a versatile delight, also an excellent base for cocktails.
In Lamego, Lamelas produces Ports with a classic Douro signature: Tawnies with an almond profile and notes of dried fruit, an enveloping Fine Tawny, and Ruby and Tawny Reserves for more immediate consumption. In the White family, the Very Old Ports of 20, 30, 40, and 50 years (500 ml format) stand out, with layers of citrus fruits, dried fruits, caramel, and tobacco, and a long, elegant finish. The portfolio also includes Rosé Port, LBV, and several Vintage Ports (2006–2018), dense, deep in color, and with firm tannins—ideal for aging. For rare moments, the 4 Generations Very Old Ports (White 60 & 80 years; Tawny 100 years) show surprising freshness and enormous persistence, perfect as a digestif or to accompany a good cigar.
